Unquestionably the jewel of the Costa del Sol, Marbella is a posh Mediterranean resort town home to some of the greatest beaches in Europe. With its stunning parks and gardens, world-class golf courses, and charming old neighbourhood, or “Casco Antiguo,” Marbella is an ideal location for learning Spanish that is both soothing and exciting.

Greetings from Marbella! Good Mediterranean cuisine, gorgeous beaches, classy stores, a bustling nightlife, exciting water sports, leisure activities—Marbella has something to offer everyone, regardless of age or preference! Marbella has a distinct climate because of its position in southern Spain and the mountains that encircle the city. Year-round pleasant temperatures are experienced; neither the summer nor the winter are oppressively hot. From May to September, you may visit the beach almost daily!

Town Square and Plaza de los Naranjos
The “casco antiguo,” or ancient centre, of Marbella, is distinguished by its white-washed streets, old squares and churches, and an increasing amount of designer stores. Town hall and a charming chapel from the 16th century may be found in the square at the centre of the town, known as “Plaza de los Naranjos” (Orange Tree Square, c. 1485). This area is ideal for taking in Marbella’s history while sipping a refreshing beverage at a terrace cafe, as it is partially surrounded by an ancient Arab wall.

Although there are still many clubs running till the wee hours of the morning and it’s still a lively place to be, the old town is thought to draw a more sophisticated nightlife audience than other regions due to its relaxed ambiance and characteristic Spanish taverns.
